LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2

The bottle is super intuitive, battery lasts forever and the design is cool. I was looking for a way to incentivize and track my water intake… this is turning to be the best gadget!

I delayed writing this review because I wanted more time to fully experience the product and provide an honest, well-rounded assessment. As someone who travels frequently for business, I’ve always searched for a water bottle that offers reliable filtration and self-cleaning features, and the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 delivers on both fronts. During my trips, I’ve often encountered water with an unusual taste. Since using this bottle, the difference has been immediate: the odd taste is gone, and the water is clean and refreshing, just as it should be. What I particularly love, beyond the filtration itself, is the option to activate the self-cleaning function either from the bottle’s button or via the mobile app. It’s clear that this bottle was designed with the user experience in mind. The LARQ app has also been a surprisingly valuable tool. It helps me track my water intake, which has made a big difference in my daily routine. Like many people, I sometimes struggle with consistency, but the app taps into my competitive side, motivating me to reach my hydration goal every day. The build quality is top-tier. The bottle keeps water cold or hot for many hours, which is a major plus. I’m especially looking forward to testing its performance in warmer climates, but in Sweden’s cold weather, it has exceeded expectations. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would absolutely recommend the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 to anyone who values functionality, smart features, and premium design in a reusable water bottle. In the near future I will absolutely order a pitcher as well. To summarize in few words, thoughtful design and performance that delivers.

The bottle is excellent — it keeps water cold for hours and the filtered water tastes incredibly fresh and clean. The design is sleek and the build quality is solid. The only downside is the app. There are no hydration reminders or notifications, so unless the bottle is in your line of sight, it’s easy to forget to drink. One of the main reasons I bought this was to stay on top of hydration, but I’ve gone hours without drinking simply because I didn’t get a reminder. A simple fix would be app-based notifications that trigger at set intervals after your last recorded intake — for example, “It’s been 30 minutes since your last drink. If you’re hydrated, ensure your bottle is nearby with the app open to refresh your progress.” With that, it’s easily a 5-star product. I did email support with some suggestions, including notification-based reminders, and they were receptive — they mentioned this and other features are in development. That’s promising, but in its current state, this is where my rating stands.

First few weeks in and it’s a game changer! I previously lacked water consumption in the morning, but not anymore thanks to the prompts. Have also put the filter to the test with hotel tap water I know would not taste fresh, amazing! Battery still on first charge, holding up great. What more I can say, 5 star purchase!
