The Self-cleaning Mode activates every 2 hours for 10 seconds to keep your bottle clean and stink-free.

Yes, the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 automatically tracks your hydration consumption and you can look at your hydration insights using the LARQ App.
The cap has a built-in sensor for hydration tracking. After filling the bottle and screwing on the cap, place the bottle on a flat table. The cap will glow a white light indicating that a measurement has been taken; this can take up to 5 seconds after placing it on the table.
Hydration tracking works best with cold or room-temperature liquids. Hot liquids will fog up the sensors and tracking will not be accurate.
The bottle filter should be replaced every 40 gallons (151 liters) or about 2 months.
Charge your bottle with the provided USB-C cable.
One full charge lasts up to 2-3 weeks of use. If you are activating Adventure Mode often, it may deplete the battery faster.
Press once for Normal mode (1-min cycle), double-click for Adventure Mode (3-min cycle).
When replacing your filter with a new one, you will need to reset the filter tracking in the LARQ app to accurately track the volume of water filtered through and flow rate for smart filter replacement.
Since it's double-wall insulated, there’s no need (and no benefit) to put the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 in the fridge. To keep drinks cold, add ice into the bottle instead.
No, we would not recommend putting the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 in the freezer. Doing so could damage the cap.
Remove the filter from the filter pod. Then, give your PureVis™ 2 Cap and filter straw attachment a warm soapy rinse every 1-2 weeks, especially in the mouth area where the UV technology doesn't reach. It’s also a good idea to wash the LARQ Bottle with warm soapy water once a month (for example, while your PureVis™ Cap is charging) for a quick reset. Do not put the PureVis™ 2 Cap in the dishwasher.
Yes, the PureVis™ technology and Nano Zero bottle filter have been tested by independent third-party labs using NSF standards.
Yes! For use in the backcountry, first, take out the Filter Straw and fill with water that is clear to the eyes with no sediments. Then, use PureVis™ Adventure Mode (double-click) on its own. After the PureVis™ cycle is complete, put the Filter Straw back in.
As a rule of thumb in the backcountry or on hikes, stick to running water sources such as rivers, streams, or waterfalls, further away from vegetation.
We offer a 1-year limited warranty to repair or replace any defective material or component. It does not cover any issues due to normal wear and tear, misuse or loss/theft of the product (2-year warranty where local regulations stipulate).

The Essential Bottle Filters have two types of carbon - carbon fiber and carbon particle. Carbon particle is derived from coconut and carbon fiber is derived from plant cellulose.
The Bottle Filter will remove contaminants like PFOS / PFOA and chlorine to improve quality and taste.
No, the LARQ Bottle Filter will not change the PH of the water.
Typically, only the outer plastic casing of traditional filters can be recycled, and it is not recommended to recycle the filter media as it captures heavy metals and contaminants.
Yes! You can use the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 without a Bottle Filter. You may remove the filter straw completely if you prefer to swig or waterfall your beverage, or simply remove the filter from the filter pod and continue use with the straw.
Yes. Each bottle will come with a sealed Essential Bottle Filter that is ready for use! Additional replacement filters can be purchased on livelarq.com.
Yes. We offer an Advanced filter on livelarq.com that can remove lead, PFOS/PFOA, chlorine, heavy metals, and more. This version has slightly more resistance when drinking due to the level of contaminant removal—like drinking a smoothie or a milkshake. The Advanced Filter is recommended for tap water containing lead and other harmful contaminants.
